tsk tsk tsk....look what u started yas yaar! why r we discussing indian actresses (madhuri, ash, the monster (bipasha basu)) and so on, in a lollywood forum?! LOL.
but...since u brought her up...4 sure man...madhuri's old school! i love her. she wasn't cocky like most of these indian actresses. same with u-know-who from lollywood!! she's not cocky. they both mind their own business, act, collect their paycheck and go home!! thats what i like abt them.
SRK yaar...i don't mind if actresses r 'fat' as long as their talented!
and lastly....i agree (obviously) with umair and pak-kuri (even tho i don't watch bollywood movies) lol.

yaar i'm a little upset with fuzon tho.
they keep delaying their new album. shafqat has done the music for reema's drama, and the group has been doing tours of india/malaysia/pak. they should sit and complete this album already!!!

maybe its better 2 have the awards overseas a little later, when all the big movies have released. that way more people might be interested.
if they have the awards this month as planned, then movies like salaakhain, and phela phela pyar and so on would not be nominated. so lets wait and see!!

from instep magazine this past sunday:
MUSICAL NOTES
- After their recent whirlwind tour of India, Fuzon was the first-ever Pakistani band to play at a concert in Malaysia. The concert was attended by Malaysians, expatriate Pakistanis as well as Indians who make up the majority of the desi population in Malaysia. The concert took place at a mountain top tourist resort on Genting Highlands, two hours drive outside of Kuala Lumpur. The band describes it as a "great experience" since it was for the first time that they played in Malaysia. The concert was organized by a group of Indians who also organized a Shahrukh Khan show in Malaysia two moths ago. In November, Fuzon will team up with King Khan and head back to Malaysia for another show. Fuzon is currently (still) working on their new album. Hopefully their new album will be out before the their next trip to Malaysia. The band certainly needs to have more variety of their own tracks when performing before an audience, whether Pakistani or Malaysian. Fuzon fans deserve more than 'Ankhian' from their favourite band.

i agree 100%
3-4 big names should come, thats all. for example, the musical masti concert which came to toronto recently only had abrar, fakhir, and reema. rabi pirzada and tariq tafu only took 10-15 minutes each, and the rest of the time went to the big 3.
more stars should come when there is an awards show, or something like that. then the mor names, the better!!

never heard of any v channel??
an indian (sikh) co-worker came up 2 me the other day and asked me who mekaal hasan was. i asked him why he wanted to know, and he said he has heard alot about him and his band from many people back home (in jalandar india). so i told him i was not going to say anything...i was going to simply give him my copy of mekaal's cd, and he could judge for himself. yakeen karo yaar's, 2 days later he came up to me and said he had heard the BEST music in his entire life, after hearing mekaal hasan's work. his favorite song was 'RABBA.'
just an example of how our music is reaching indians finally. this guy's family loved mekaal so much that they referred him to my indian co-worker who then asked me for a cd!! so soon you'll see MHB and others involved in indian music countdowns.

2 bad man. i hope they show it. even if its not live.
u should definately get PTV prime tho. its at its peak during eid. the coverage they have is unbeatable. i have had the channel for 2 years now and its outstanding. each year the eid shows have gotten better. this past year some guy named yusaf sallaudin invited almost every singer and model to his HUGE house and they had a eid bash with singing and jokes. it was such a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere!! cant wait till this years eid!!
